WHEN Peru Under-20 keeper Angelo Campos charged off his line and completely missed the ball, the whole ground thought a goal was a certainty.Peru were 3-2 down, there were five minutes to go and Uruguay striker Gonzalo Bueno looked to have extended the lead when he tapped the ball goalwards. But Campos seemed to have wings of an angel as he flew back to deny Bueno not once, but twice in quick succession.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has issued a robust defence of Luis Suarez after the striker was accused of racism. In the wake of the Reds’ 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Saturday, Patrice Evra claimed in an interview with Canal Plus that Suarez had verbally abused him on a number of occasions during the game. Suarez immediately refuted the allegations, which the Football Association are looking into.
