Football Coach Remembers Spc. Kurt Kern
McAllen Memorial Head Football Coach Bill Littleton said he remembers Spc. Kurt Kern as a hard-working, “pleasant young man.” It is the home of the Mustangs, and for four years, a second home to Army Specialist Kurt Kern. The McAllen Memorial High School Class of 2006 graduate was also a member of the football team.

Natalie Randolph, a 29-year-old biology teacher, was introduced Friday as the coach of Washington DC’s Calvin Coolidge Senior High School. She’s believed to be the nation’s only female head coach of a high school varsity football team.
