Manager Roberto Mancini says he will be “happy” if Carlos Tevez were to return to Manchester City following speculation that the striker is coming back to the club this week. The striker has been in his native Argentina since November after being suspended and fined by the club for refusing to warm up as a substitute against Bayern Munich last September. Mancini, who recently named Tevez in his 25-man squad for the remainder of the season says “Carlos knows the situation – he is a Man City player”.

Derby 0-2 Stoke – Pulis on magnificent fans | English Premier League 2012

Goals from Cameron Jerome and Robert Huth ensured last season’s FA Cup finalists Stoke City safely negotiated their way into the fifth round. Striker Jerome’s close-range effort in the fifth minute gave the visitors the lead after a nervy start from Derby. The Championship side did enjoy periods of possession but struggled to test Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
