These herdsmen have chosen to integrate culture and tradition under a common goal – to pioneer the first professional football club from the region. And as our sports reporter Seth Olale discovered, the young Morans have chosen the path of passion, dedication and self sacrifice, to ensure their football dream comes true.

RAF mission to bring football kit to ANA 06.02.13

Members of the Royal Air Force have completed an unusual mission – to get football kit to members of the Afghan National Police. It Is all part of an ongoing campaign by a team at RAF Shawbury to send equipment and shirts to more than 40 countries around the world to help inspire the next generation.

2 YORKS take on Russian Navy at football 05.02.13

The 2nd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment have hosted members of the Russian Navy for a football match at Episkopi in Cyprus. In a break from the Battalion’s island league fixtures, the friendly was scheduled to mark the end of a naval exercise off the coast of Limassol. The Russian visitors gave both their A and B teams a chance to stretch their sea legs, but lost 17 -1 to the infantry side.
